The Rubio bill allows for people to draw from their social security. The company should not have to pay. Connyer that’s the way the Democrats want to fund it. The Republican bill introduced last year by Sen. Rubio funds family leave though individuals’ Social Security.

Pretty sure that’s the same kinda nonsense Bernie spewed in that debate with Cruz a couple of years ago. Completely ridiculous.  When my husband was diagnosed with cancer I was able to be with him for his treatments, surgeries and the last few weeks of his life, but because I ran out of FMLA I was fired 2 weeks before he passed. I’m not good with apologies so go unfuck yourself or whatever. I would not want anyone to go through that stress. Employers could care less about their employees. I also lost the extra life insurance for my husband.
