While she teaches a class of 5 year olds. What you won’t see in this video are the countless hours of preparation that go into each class. You won’t see the frustration and helplessness that a teacher feels when they’re doing everything they can but still feel like they’ve failed a child. And you won’t see the amount of pressure a teacher carries on their shoulders to ensure they’re creating a positive impact on their students and hopefully providing the right experiences that will compound overtime to create a better future for them. But, these are just a few of the ‘invisible’ aspects of great teachers that make them exceptional at what they do. While not all teachers approach their job with the same level of responsibility and commitment, I salute the teachers of our world for undertaking one of the most important jobs out there. So, whether you were taught how to count to 10 or how to get back up when you fall down, how to be a better person or how to chase your dreams, don’t forget to thank those who have made an effort to contribute to your life.
